About

A medical student studying in London. I love music, people, food and thinking/discussing/reading about ways to improve the world! An optimist at heart, I do sometimes (often?) give in to cynicism.

I am a member of the Green Party and passionate about unity between those on the left.

internationalism, human rights, systemic change, stopping inequality, education, health, biodiversity, good food, peace, LGBT rights, feminism, liberty, anti-poverty, equality and of course climate change!

    Hello there,

Love your blog, and as grren issues are part of an Oxfam campaign I’m working on at the moment I thought you may be interested to hear about it.

It’s called the G8 Wait and can be found on MySpace, Facebook, YouTube and Flickr. The basic idea is this: in 2005 the world leaders made lots of promises about poverty. Unfortunately a lot of these promises are in danger of being broken. So we want to let the G8, and particularly Tony Blair, know that we’re eagerly waiting for them to respond on these promises. We’re asking Tony to post a video when he returns from this year’s G8 explaining what he and the seven other world leaders discussed and decided. The more people waiting the more likely he is to respond.

So we’ve made a sort of virtual waiting space – the peoples’ table – on the four major social networking sites, and we’re trying to get as many people as possible to join.

You can have a look here:

    MySpace(www.myspace.com/g8wait) Facebook(http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2347287531) YouTube(www.youtube.com/g8wait) Flickr(www.flickr.com/groups/g8wait)

Climate change is really high on the G8 agenda so maybe you’d like to mention our campaign in your blog? That would be most lovely indeed. It’s really important that we get as many people as possible to join so your help would be much appreciated. And while you’re at it, make sure you join the wait too!

Thank you so much. Let me know if you have any questions.

    Hello,

I would very much like to talk with you about a project I am talking with a government about. As I will be providing the entire country free green energy and water.

I hope this is of interest to you.

It is designed as a stepping stone for the world by 2050.

    Take good care

Well, to sum up we are a green social networking site for people who want to reduce their carbon footprint. We’re trying to build a community and it would be great to have you on board! Maybe you can put us up on your blogroll. Let me know if you are interested.

    Hello,

My name is Audrey and I work for Wikio, the number 1 news aggregator in Europe indexing over 60,000 blogs and news sites.

Whilst visiting Studentmedic.wordpress.com, I noticed you do not currently offer any subscription tools to your readers so that they can be updated with your last articles.

At Wikio, we offer a free universal subscription button that allows your readers to subscribe to your website using their favorite subscription service, without you having to display each and every one of them.

This “all-in-one” solution is very easy to install and will allow you to improve the loyalty of your readers and increase your traffic.

If you want to add this service, just follow this link: http://www.wikio.co.uk/tools/universalsubscription and choose the button that you like the most. Or If you’d prefer, I could just send you the code directly.

Do let me know if you have any questions.

    Regards,

    Audrey
